Season's greetings to you all on this the shortest day. This is my vintage Father Christmas lightbulb that I found in a charity shop about 8 years ago- i'm not sure how old it is but it comes from a time when flex's were covered in fabric and only had two wires. We (me and Dad) did plug it in once and it does still work- there is a massive filament in there somewhere. Maybe I should try it again and get some photos this time, i'm just scared it would blow up and i'd be left with shards of glass and no Santa. He lives on top of my book shelf all year round actually, but I thought i'd share him with you today.
