It's that time again- the time when I ask you to recommend some books to me as I have a budget of £100 that has to be spent on art related books. I've already treated myself to this new book:

Abandoned Cars by Tim Lane

which as a graphic novel might just fit into the art category, but i'm not sure i'll get away with buying comics with this money, so if you have any recommendations that would be great!

Oooh, what a lovely task!!! Spending money on art books!

I'm a big fan of Taschen Books, especially the 'Icons' series, which are small and cheap, but beautifully produced. I really like their fine art & pop culture titles (not so sure about the porn ones, but hey, you can't like everything...).
I always feel their books are really good value.

Chronicle Books also publish beautiful art, craft and pop culture books.

Are you allowed to spend it on magazine subscriptions? I LOVE Selvedge magazine, and find it very inspirational.

Hope those are useful suggestions, rather than just telling you about individual books which appeal to me.
