My original plan was to make mistletoe- I even did lots of research about it and made a special template, but at the last minute I decided to make these little trees- decorated with vintage crochet and buttons. As I sewed the buttons on I realised they gave the trees a strange kind of alien creature look and that once again I had succeeded in creating a demented ornament that would be hidden at the back of the tree for no-one to see. At least this year I didn't give them faces...
Also- don't forget tomorrow is the deadline for the 510th post giveaway- thanks to everyone who commented, i'll be picking the winner at about 6pm GMT.

Oh -well this picture answers a question that I was going to ask you: I have a nice sewing machine and was wondering if you'd like to use it while I'm away, or buy it off me. But it looks like you already have a decent one!
...but, if you give me your address I'll send you a little crocheted heart to go with your cute trees!
I really like these trees and the fact that each one looks a bit different.
I love the little case they are on too.
ah ah ah...you really have to stop saying that you make "demented" ornaments. They are super original and until you said alien like creaure I didn't even see it!
