Not just the doll faces, but the fact I seem completely unable to keep anything neat and tidy at all. I live in a house that is full of clutter and everytime I want to do something I have to try and remember where it was I last saw my sewing machine. From time to time I manage to clear a little corner in the house, but I never seem to keep it up.
As you can see, there are all kinds of attempts at storage systems and organisation (strangely I love organisation of things, and filling in forms) and yet not one surface is clear. I even bought a book to help me with this demon, but I lost it under piles of magazines and fabric...

I think your 'cluttered' space looks great. In my opinion it's a sign of a creative soul. I would just love to have a root around in that room!
Gah! That would drive me nuts (yes I know, this coming from 'Miss Anal Retentive, obsessive paintbrush-washer' which is probably just as bad on the other extreme LOL).
You need to get those 'Life Laundry' people in. Or at least some colour-coded storage boxes. I see you have made an attempt on the shelf in the second photo.
Now if we could just do that to the whole house.....

I now how that feels...my 'creative' space is overflowing with stuff that might one day come in handy. Your area looks much tidier than mine!
Right now this is how my craft room looks like. Everytime I try to tackle it I make it more messy... but somehow I am always able to find what i am looking for :)

I cleaned the other day and couldn't do anything then because it was too clean.

ah yes, the 'where is the sewing machine' problem. I know it's under all this stuff SOMEWHERE.
I too enjoy my organised moments but they are oh so short lived and i never remember to take a photo.
I am a messy person also. I just get so distracted before I put things back, very annoying when I am searching for something. Your work space looks very familiar so I like it! I try but it always ends up back the same way!
