Ok so this isn't the sort of thing I expected to be documenting for Thrift Thursday, but the fact is I picked this up at the charity shop on the end of my street today for the price of £1.50. It's a little children's board book about being a panda, complete with panda ears and tail to wear. I'll be sending this to my friend Kimya who recently gave birth to a baby girl, and named her Panda. The thing I think she'll like best about this is it includes the words 'go on, discover the Panda in you!' which of course she did...
Tomorrow I am off to Cornwall for a week. I shall be staying in a cottage near the sea and spending my time trying to learn how to crochet, making a new bath mat, maybe drawing and visiting lots of great places. I'll have no internet for a whole week! How will I cope?
