R.I.P. Tony Hart

I didn't ever get any of my work shown in the gallery, maybe because I didn't ever send anything in- but I can always remember watching with amazement at the skills of some 8 year olds and being convinced they'd had an adult to help them. R.I.P. Tony Hart.

It made me sad too, when I heard Tony Hart had died. I loved watching his programmes when I was young. I don't remember ever making anything inspired by the programme, and like you, I never sent anything in, but I think it made me feel that making art was okay, because it was on the telly.

I wonder how many people our age are Artists now because of Tony Hart...?

I did send some pictures to Tony Hart but even the fact he never showed any of them in the gallery (not even the one of the lady standing on a chair because she was scared of a mouse, which took me the best part of a week to create) wasn't enough to stop me loving him. I love the photo you chose :)
