I'd like to introduce you to my friend Nan and her dance troupe Underthrust.
Underthrust can be seen dancing here in this 'official' video for I Like Giants by Kimya Dawson. This song has a special place in my heart because a) it's awesome b) Nan's dance troupe dance to it onstage with Kimya and c) I sang on it onstage with Kimya in London a few years ago. (except I mucked up the words and had to go and be sick afterwards.)
Nan is also one half of Schwervon! (the other half being Major Matt Mason) and generally all round lovely (as are MMM and Kimya). I don't know when this turned into a music-related blog, but sometimes you can't help wanting to let other people know how great your friends are. Especially when they dress up in yellow sacks and do dances.

HOW the hell did I manage to miss this post the first time??!!??
It has to be one of my favourite songs (and one of the best videos I've seen to date of it!) .... I dream to one day make an animation of it .... hmmm.... one day
