A dress a day

seagulls

Today I have been challenged to make a dress and some cushions. It's a sure sign that steroids and anti-biotics are working their magic on my lungs because this challenge came whilst I was walking home from a visit to the beach-meaning I was able to walk, talk and breath all at the same time.

I am filling myself up with melon and have just finished making the front bodice of the dress- i'm making it up as I go along, using an old sheet for the fabric so there's no knowing what it will turn out like, but I needed the challenge to get me over the makers block I am suffering from. Of course before I started on the dress I took a detour to my 43 things page and updated it for the first time in months, it got me thinking about a couple of other places worth visiting, that have some nice projects going on at the moment:

pia jane bijkerk: my heart wanders

hula seventy: summer postcard swap

and of course a dress a day

Not to be repetitive, but I too can't wait to see how the dress turns out!
