Breath in, breath out

5.30

5.30 in the morning, my bathroom looked so pretty, it's a shame I hadn't been able to sleep yet.

Yesterday I ended up at the doctors, sat with my face in a nebuliser trying to get my breathing working again. The short walk to the doctors had left me totally breathless and unable to talk very well- i've been having very bad hay fever for the last few weeks and it seems like it's hit my lungs now. I left with a prescription for steroids, anti-biotics and a new inhaler. The steroids kicked in pretty quickly and i'm much better today, but think i'm going to have to take it super easy for the next few days. In the meantime, this is what I had for breakfast:

hope you feel better soon. My son has hay fever though not as bad as yours sounds, the last medication they gave him made his hair fall out!! I really hope you get well asap.

oh no! I hope that you will get better soon. I had something like that last winter. For the past 4 years, as soon as I get a cold it transformed into a pneumonia and I had to take...well, that kind of breakfast ;) xox

scary stuff, wishing you a low pollen count! have you ever tried a neti pot? i keep meaning to get one and i always imagined they might be good for hay fever sufferers, but that's just a total guess, i could be completely wrong.

i was popping by to say thanks for your comment on my grey post. i'd be happy to read these things on your blog, but i get why you are wary since i'm the same. i reckon we can get away with little bursts to let the pressure out without freaking people too much. i hope.

fingers crossed you can sleep tonight and breath easy. x
