My friend Tracy mentioned today that she suspected I had been busy or ill as there's not been much action on this blog for a while- nice to know someone's keeping an eye on me!
Anyway, as she so rightly suspected, I have indeed been busy. I've been screen printing wrapping paper and tissue paper (remind me never to print tissue paper again), ironing bags and t-shirts, filing down seashells and on a quest to find the right kind of glue.
My little golden creatures decided they didn't want to be left out of The Mythical Beast Sweet Shoppe and found that with the addition of a seashell they could pass for unicorns themselves. It seems like all the work i've created for the Shoppe has some element of dressing up. My 'I am a Unicorn' tshirts and bags feature a drawing of a donkey with a shell on his head, and now these golden unicorns have shells instead of horns too. Could it be that are just normal horses with seashells stuck on? Surely not...

Ha! You're funny...
Hmmm... you have a thing growing out of your head by the way ...
I am a unicorn!
Have you tried screen printing on Mulberry paper? That should give you a better result. Remind me and I'll bring some in for you to try after the holidays.
If it's successful, you can by it in large sheets quite readily online.
