Shannon Meeker (aka Five Gallon Bucket), one of the most marvellous people i've never met, only just managed to escape from her house when it caught on fire the other day. In the past Shannon has sent me packages of goodies for no real reason and i've been meaning to send her something for ages now- this news means i'm going to get sewing and packing and send something off to help her in some small way. Kate is collecting money for Shannon, and Shannon herself has suggested donation go to Astoria Red Cross who have been looking after Shan and the girls.
