I'm so excited about some of the work i've been making for my end of year show. Unfortunately I fell over and broke my camera, so I don't have any photos to show you- but one of the elements was really influenced by the work of Sandra Vasquez de la Horra which I saw last year at the Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery. I love her use of wax- she draws on to paper and then coats it with wax afterwards, which gives it a really wonderful feeling. I also really liked the way in which her work was installed, which is something that i'll be borrowing from i'm sure.
