Still walking...

seawall at Burnham on Sea

Today I caught the bus to go visit my friend Tish (and her children) where I was treated to home made pizza and a carefully planned walk along the seafront. The walk would've lasted longer I think if it hadn't been for the high number of strange flying creatures that were bothering us- so we cut things short and went to our favourite ice cream parlour and spoilt ourselves with ice cream and waffles.

I've been in a particularly 'noticing things' frame of mind this week and today I noticed this strange carving, the smell of honeysuckle as I walked down my street, the swallows gathering on the wires ready to fly home and how high the tide was when I got back home again.
