Last day in the week of elements and the element for today is metal. I've chosen these photos I took of the rusting turnstile at the end of the old pier in Weston. I love the way the layers of paint are flaking off and the rust is crumbling away. Hopefully the old pier may be restored one day soon, but for the last few years it's slowly got more and more rusty and there's a worry that one bad winter storm could see it fall into the sea.

The texture is phenomenal! Great pictures, wonderful way to bring closure to elements week.
